Welcome to the website of Plumpton Rugby Football Club.

Here you will find information about the club including fixtures, results, contact details and relevant information.

We are a small and friendly club enjoying competitive rugby every Saturday afternoon during the season, which ends with our own ‘Invitation Sevens Tournament’.   Founded by R.A. Ford in 1967 Plumpton's home from the start has been the Racecourse.  

It has over the year’s borne testament to the highs and lows, trials and tribulations of being a Sussex village team, from having 11 players to two full sides, from bitter defeat to glorious victory. Having consolidated our position in the Intermdiate league it's all about fun and rugby!!

To take this competitive, aspiring Sussex Intermediate side to Sussex 1 success

The successful applicant must be able to:

• Show a flexible approach to training, focusing on enjoyment, variety  
  and on developing both new and established player’s abilities
• Run Tuesday training, 7.30pm at Plumpton College sand school and 
  occasional sessions at Lewes RFC
• Take responsibility for team selection, club communication and input
   through the club committee
• Demonstrate commitment and involvement and the ability to have as   
  much fun as possible at a wonderful club
